Garlic Confit
Ingredients:

2 cups whole garlic cloves, peeled
2 cups extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1 bay leaf
Directions:

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Place the garlic cloves in a small baking dish or oven-proof pot.
Pour the olive oil over the garlic until completely submerged.
Add sea salt, peppercorns, thyme, and bay leaf to the oil.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil or a lid and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the garlic is soft and golden.
Allow the garlic and oil to cool in the dish, then transfer to an airtight container.
Refrigerate and use within two weeks.
