Cinnamon Cream Cheese Cookies


1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Cinnamon sugar for coating
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg yolk and vanilla.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in cinnamon sugar.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
