Double Chocolate Banana Bread
3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
Stir in the melted butter, brown sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Add to the banana mixture.
Fold in the chocolate chips until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
