Ingredients:
🐟 Fish filets (of your choice,I used catfish)
🧂 Salt (to taste)
🌶️ Pepper
🌿 1 tsp dried mustard
🌶️ 1 tsp smoked paprika
🔥 1/3 tsp dried pepper flakes
🍪 Crackers with chopped parsley (optional)
🥄 Olive oil
🧈 Butter
Instructions:
Set your oven to 350 F (175 C).
Prepare Fish Filets: Pat dry the fish filets with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil.
Create Spice Mix: In a small bowl, combine dried mustard, smoked paprika, salt, pepper and dried pepper flakes. Sprinkle the spice mix evenly over both sides of the oiled fish filets, ensuring a flavorful coating. Set aside to marinate.
Optional Topping (Crackers with Parsley): In a pan, melt butter over low heat. Add crushed crackers and chopped parsley to the melted butter. Stir to mix. Do not cook; just combine the ingredients.
Assemble and Bake: Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Place the seasoned fish filets in the prepared baking dish. Spread the buttered cracker and parsley mixture evenly over the fish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Carefully transfer the baked fish to a serving platter.
