M&M Cookie Puzza
The perfect dessert for pizza night 🍕
RECIPE:
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
1 large egg, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup M&M candies, divided
1/3 cup milk chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch cast-iron skillet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, mix melted butter and sugars. Add the egg and vanilla, blending well.
Stir in the dry ingredients until just combined.
Fold in ¾ cup of the M&Ms.
Press the dough into the prepared skillet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until edges are lightly golden brown and the top is set.
Let it cool for 10 minutes. Melt the chocolate chips and spread over the cookie.
Press the remaining M&Ms into the chocolate. Let it rest until completely cooled and the chocolate is set.
