Perfectly Cooked Steak Every Time 🥩🔥

🕒 Preparation Time: 35 minutes (including resting time)
🕒 Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
🍽️ Servings: 2 servings

📝 Recipe for Perfectly Cooked Steak:

Ingredients:

🥩 2 beef steaks, at least 1-inch thick
🥄 2 teaspoons olive oil
🧂 1 teaspoon salt
🌶️ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
🌱 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
🧈 2 tablespoons softened butter
🧄 1-2 cloves garlic, minced

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

1️⃣ Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and packaging, and let them sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
2️⃣ Rub each side of the steaks with olive oil to coat. In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, and white pepper to make a rub mixture. Rub both sides of each steak with the mixture.
3️⃣ Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Preheat a heavy, oven-safe skillet over high heat until it is smoking hot.
4️⃣ Sear the steaks in the hot skillet for 2-3 minutes per side. If the steak has a side of fat, turn the steak onto its side and sear the fat for 2-3 minutes as well.
5️⃣ Slide the skillet with the seared steaks into the preheated oven to finish cooking. Remove the steaks from the oven when they reach 5 degrees below the desired level of doneness, or approximately 130 degrees Fahrenheit (54 degrees Celsius) for medium-rare.
6️⃣ While the steaks are cooking, use a fork to combine the softened butter with minced garlic in a small bowl.
7️⃣ When the steaks are removed from the oven, immediately top each steak with 1 tablespoon of the garlic butter mixture. Allow the steaks to rest for 10 minutes before cutting into them. The temperature of the steak will continue to rise as it rests by about 5 degrees.

Enjoy your perfectly cooked steak! 🥩🔥👨‍🍳😋

Note: Adjust the cooking time according to the desired level of doneness and the thickness of the steaks.
