Waldorf Salad 🥗🍎🥬

Ingredients:

🍎 2 crisp and sweet apples (like Honeycrisp or Gala), chopped (about 300g)

🥬 1 cup thinly sliced celery (about 100g)

🌰 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optionally toasted (about 60g)

🍇 1 cup grapes, red or green, halved (about 150g)

🥣 1/3 cup mayonnaise (about 80g), can be substituted with yogurt for a lighter version

🍋 1 tablespoon lemon juice

🧂 Salt and pepper to taste

🥬 Lettuce leaves for serving (optional)

Instructions:

Preparation: Chop the apples, thinly slice the celery, halve the grapes, and chop the walnuts if not already chopped.

Mixing Dressing: In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise (or yogurt) and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combining Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples, sliced celery, halved grapes, and chopped walnuts.

Dressing Salad: Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.

Serving: Serve the Waldorf salad on a bed of lettuce leaves, if desired.
