Gingerbread Crazy Cake
Spiced Gingerbread Crazy Cake
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
1 tsp white vinegar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
5 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.
Make three wells in the dry ingredients. Pour vinegar in one well, vanilla in the second, and vegetable oil in the third.
Pour water over all and stir until smooth.
Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool before slicing.
