Washboard cookies 

Can't stop baking these.  The kind that vanish off the rack before they ever cool.    Soft and buttery, with just a little crisp around the edges.  Fork-pressed, simple, and made without thinking too hard.    Washboard Cookies    🍪 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝟮𝟰 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘀:  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet.  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in vanilla.  3. Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt.  4. Add dry ingredients to butter, alternating with milk, until soft dough forms.  5. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place on sheet and press with a fork.  6. Bake 12–15 minutes until lightly golden. Cool, then transfer to a rack.

Apple Pie Biscuits

Apple Pie Biscuits Ingredients 1 can of buttermilk biscuits 1 can apple pie filling 1/2 c butter melted 1/2 c brown sugar 1 tbs cinnamon 1/8 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp vanilla extract Icing: 1/2 c confection sugar. 1 tbs milk Lightly grease pan or skillet. In a bowl mix brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg. Dip each biscuit in butter and cover all sides with the sugar mix. Arrange in pan. Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces. Mix in vanilla extract. Arrange over the biscuits, sprinkle remaining sugar over top and remaining butter. Bake for 35 min at 375 degrees. Make icing and drizzle over top. Serve warm Sent from AOL on Android
